Five pregnancies, two miscarriages, and two successful deliveries later, being called "Mom" is a privilege I will never take for granted. I had no control over my miscarriages, so I decided to take control over my own mindset and lifestyle instead. Cultivating a more healthy thought life, curating a stress-free environment, and chasing opportunities that would allow me to experience the utmost joy and fulfillment in my photography business and motherhood journey have changed my approach and perspective on life.

tied the knot in 2016

I was not the typical bride who had her whole wedding planned out at age 7, but I had one wish and that was to get married in Hawaii. We planned our wedding and said 'I do" on a mountaintop overseeing The Big Island.

I experienced my first miscarriage in 2018

I was 15 weeks pregnant when they could no longer detect my baby's heartbeat. My perspective and the appreciation I had for motherhood changed after this.

started a photography business in 2018

in memory of my loss, i got my first tattoo

I was never one to be interested in tattoos, but when my husband's client offered it to us, it was an easy YES!
I tagged along with my husband during a work trip to NYC and we booked my tattoo appointment with JonBoy.

I found out i was pregnant in june of 2020

One week after turning 30y/o I found out I was pregnant! We threw a Gender Reveal Party to celebrate and find out if we were having a boy or a girl!

welcomed my daughter into the world in 2021

A snowstorm was headed our way while I was in labor at The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, New Jersey. Alana Kai was born January 31, 2021 at 11:11PM.

STARTED a personal website and blog in 2022

After having multiple miscarriages and running a business while being a stay-at-home mom I have been through the hills and valleys of motherhood. I'm here to share how I find JOY in all circumstances! Here to take space in the corner of the internet, I introduce to you - Joyful Mama!
